Michael S. Highfill

Mike was born on March 1, 1952 in Houston,Texas. His parents were Richard and Dorthy (McDonald) Highfill. He passed away at the age of 65 on November 30, 2017, in Aurora, Oregon. Mike spent his childhood between San Diego, California, Houston, Texas and New Orleans Louisiana. He graduated fro West Jefferson High School in New Orleans and attended the University of Houston for two years. He spent his career in the National Gas Industry working mainly in the international arena. He worked throughout Europe, Africa, Mid East, South American and China. He retired in 2011. Since retirement he spent his time working on his restored 57 truck as well as projects around the house/property. He loved spending time with his wife, Linda, his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed! He is survived by his wife: Linda N. HIghfill, Daughter: Kellie and Glenn Herbert of Thornton Colorado, Son: Michael R Highfill of Aurora, Oregon, Daughter: Ashley and Greg Beasley of Hattisberg, Mississippi, Grandchildren: Tyler and Jaxson Herbert, Kylie and McKinzie Highfill, Christopher Cotoli and Riely Beasley, Brothers: David and Larry Stenzel of Canby, and Sister Pam Highfill of San Diego, California. He was proceded in death by his father and step mother: Richard and Mary Highfill and his brother, Steve Highfill. No service will be held. There was a family gathering at the home on December 4, 2017.
