Healey Mortuary
Michael T. Jones
May 16th, 1955 - January 28th, 2020
Michael T. Jones, 64, was called upon by our dear Lord Almighty, peacefully at home on January 28, 2020, with his family and friends by his side. Michael was born on May 16, 1955 in Dover, Delaware to David Jones and Alice Russell Jones. He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Scott of Hawaii. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Judi Browe Jones, two step sons, Mark Linares and Marty Linares. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and so many kind friends at Pond Derosa Oaks Park. Mike was a bricklayer and belonged to the BAC local #3. For the past four and half years, he put up a hell of a fight from idiopasthic pulmonary fibrosis, a disease of the lungs that can't be cured other than having a transplant. Michael will be sadly missed by all that knew what a wonderful kind and helpful man he was. Services are planned for a later date at the Monterey City Cemetery, Monterey, CA. All will be notified. "Rest in pease my Love. Hugs and kisses, til we meet again."

We Entrusted Michael Jones's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
