Michael Ray Lambert
June 11th, 1964 - April 11th, 2020
Michael Ray Lambert, 55, died unexpectedly on April 11th, 2020 in Bandon, Oregon. He was born on June 11th, 1964 to Carolyn Ann Sanders and Leamon Ray Lambert in Chico, CA. Mike attended Marigold Elementary, Bidwell Jr. High, and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1982. He was the third generation owner of Lambert's Masonry Supply, which he eventually sold and began successfully farming almonds. He remained in Chico throughout his career then had recently relocated to Bandon, Oregon to enjoy retirement. Mike was married twice. His second marriage of 15 years was with his former spouse, Victoria. They had two wonderful children together, Austyn (22) and Madisyn (19). His kids were all that he talked about and whether you knew him or not, he would brag about how proud he was of both of them. His passions included hunting and fishing, and he was a lifelong Raiders football fan. His hobbies took him around the world. He loved to tell the many stories of his adventures about hunting in Argentina with his son, Austyn as well as traveling with close friends to South Africa. For those who had the opportunity to know Mike, they'll remember his big heart, willingness to help anyone at any time, his unique sense of humor, and what will be missed most, his laugh. Mike is survived by his son Austyn Michael Lambert, his daughter Madisyn Nichole Lambert, his mother Carolyn Ann Lambert, his sisters, Marilee Lambert Villa and Liz Nichols, along with his three beloved hunting dogs Jackie, Heidi, and Pepper. He was preceded in death by his father, Leamon "Ray" Lambert. The funeral service will be private and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
