Michael Alan Mason

On the afternoon of November 13, 2019, Michael Alan Mason of Charlotte went to be with the Lord at the age of 61. The breadth, depth and diversity of those whose lives Michael touched seems impossible to calculate as he knew no strangers. Michael lived a life of passion, character, and honor. Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, 8th Dan, Menkyo-Okuden, Heishin-Ryu Sogo Bujutsu, Operation Decisive Victory Board of Directors, Treasurer, accomplished designer, lead singer classic rock and roll band, true patriot to the constitution inherent as a direct descendant of George Mason IV. Michael is survived by his wife Elizabeth Carver Mason of Charlotte and by his sisters Pamela Price, Mt. Holly, and Denise Yoder, Hickory, nephew Chris Whittaker, Austin, nieces Heather Carter, Greensboro, Carole Willis, Morehead City, Erin Austin, Raleigh, and their children, to whom he was a loving great uncle. Celebration of Life for Michael will be held Saturday November 23, 2019. The service is at 1:00pm followed by reception 2-4pm.
