Michael F Molnar

Michael F Molnar, 78, passed away on January 8, 2016 in Mulino, Oregon. Michael was born in Warren, Ohio on May 14, 1937 to Michael and Mildred Zek Molnar. Michael grew up in Warren, Ohio and moved to Fontana, California in 1948. His father Michael Molnar bought property in Fontana and they built their home and was occupied until 2003, when Michael and his wife moved to Mulino, Oregon. Michael married Judith Ann Hornsby on September 30, 1962 in Las Vegas Nevada. Michael was in the National Guard and worked as a Millwright for 24 years at Kaiser Steel in Fontana, California. Outside work Michael loved bowling, fishing, hunting woodworking and auto mechanics. He was also a member of Foothills Church, the Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge in Bloomington, California. Michael is survived by his Wife Judith, Daughter, Laura (William) Ferris of Molalla, Oregon; Son, David (Shawn) of Oregon City, Oregon; grandchildren, Joshua Ferris, Johnathan Ferris, Savannah Gibbings, Joseph Ferris, Amber Gibbings, Jessica Molnar, Katharine Molnar, Sarah Molnar, and David Ferris; and great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Moser. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Michael Molnar and Mildred Zek Molnar. A Memorial Service will be held at the Foothill Church in Molalla, Oregon on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 12 pm. A reception will follow the service at 1 pm. Contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in the name of Michael Molnar Arrangements entrusted to Molalla Funeral Chapel.
