O?Keefe, Michael P. ?Mike?, 55, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday July 17, 2004 at Baypines VA Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Christopher, IL, he came here in 1991 from Ft. Myers, FL. He was a highly decorated Vietnam War Combat Veteran as Navy Corpsman he distinguished himself by receiving a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. He attended St. Jude?s Catholic Church. Survivors include his two sons: Jeff and Jesse, both of Benton, IL; two brothers: Richard, West City, IL and Steve, St. Petersburg, FL; and a sister Kelly O?Keefe ? Webb, Belle Rive, IL. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel.
