Michael Pacheco

Michael Pacheco died/peacefully in Collier House Hospice on August 8,2017 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at the age of 57. Michael is survived by his wife Maria Pacheco, son Jared Pacheco, daughter Caitlyn Pacheco, his parents Al and Jenny Pacheco of Denver CO, his brother Mel Pacheco, his sister Patricia Alirez and brother-in-law Fred Alirez. his father-in-law James Abeyta of Westminster CO. He is preceded in death by his godson Christopher Pacheco, of Denver, CO, His mother in-law Dolores Abeyta, of Westminster CO, his auntie Mary Anne Zamora, of Denver, CO, his godparents Art and Mary Garcia, of Trinidad, CO and his friend Ramona Seber, of Denver, CO. Michael Pacheco was born on August 28, 1960 in Raton, New Mexico to Al and Jenny Pacheco. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1978. He married Maria Abeyta, met on feds and fell in love in 1979. They Settled in Denver, Co, Michael began working for King Soopers before meeting Maria. Landscape manager at Regis University, Michael was instrumental in bringing Regis University to Arboretum Status, He was fortunate to plant a tree in the meditation garden with the Dalai Lama, He prepared the campus for the meeting between Pope John Paul ll and President Bill Clinton, he was also fortunate to meet them personally, Landscape Manager at Denver Health, Sales rep at Home Depot, and Landscape Manager at Miller Landscape . Friday, August 18, 2017, Rosary at 9:40 a.m. ,Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., at All Saints Catholic Church, with a reception to follow. Monsignor Peter Quang Nguyen will officiate the ceremony.
