Michael Dennis Prairie

January 28th, 1941 - February 1st, 2013

Michael D. Prairie of Milwaukie, Oregon passed away from complications of colon cancer. A private family service will be held at a later date. Mike was born in Portland to William and Helen (Scribner) Prairie. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School and PCC. He started his career at Omark Industries and then was a business owner until he retired. Mike leaves behind his children, Kathi (Gary) Hollister, Kevin, and Ken; stepchildren, Shane (Jill) and Curt (Michelle) Martin; eleven grandchildren; brother, William; sister, Jeannie; and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Joan Curtis who died in May 2002. Contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Autumn Funerals, Cremation & Burial, Tigard, Oregon.
