Michael F. Quinn Sr.

Michael F Quinn Sr, 82 of Syracuse died 7/21/20 at St Joseph’s Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Syracuse he was the son of Bernard R. Quinn Jr., and Helen Quinn(Wells). Michael attended Onondaga Valley Academy. At an early age while working at Lourdes Camp he met his future wife Ann Maroney. They would go on to marry, a marriage that lasted 48 years until her death on 2/17/2007. Michael worked most of his life in the banking industry finishing his career at Empire Tel-Com as Vice President. Michael enjoyed time with his family, golf and socializing with friends, Michael is survived by two sons , Michael Jr(Melanie) of Tennessee , Patrick(Juli Ann) of Homer; two daughters, Sheila Emerson of Manlius and Colleen Denick(Gregory) of Tully. A brother Bernard R. Quinn III(Ellen) of Alabama:two sisters Patricia Limpert of Camillus and H. Elizabeth Zawadski of Florida. Grandchildren: Jackie Kosalek, Michael D. Quinn(Carly Tucker), Mallory Quinn, Sean Emerson(Caitlyn), Katherine Cosbey(Alex), Daniel Emerson, their father JP Emerson, Taillear Hughes(Nathan), Clare Denick(CJ Underwood), Camryn Denick, Lukas Quinn and Taryn Quinn. Great granddaughters Naya Kosalek and Quinn Hughes and many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday 7/30/20 at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Contributions: American Diabetes Association and/or American Heart Association
