February 8, 1945 - September 15, 2021 Michael James Rice of Yuba City, passed away at Adventist Health and Rideout on September 15, 2021. He was born in Marysville, on February 8, 1945, and was a resident of the Yuba/Sutter area for 76 years. Mike is survived by his niece, Lyndell (husband, John) Suehead of Auburn; great-nephews, Jack Eads Jr., Matt (wife, Tiffany) Eads, Zachary Eads of Yuba City, Troy (wife, Samantha) Code and Brandon Code of Elk Grove, Victor (wife, Angela) Rafanan of Fresno, Chris (wife, Elizabeth) Rafanan of Yuba City; great-niece, Rachel (husband, Jaime) Becerra of Sutter; plus numerous family and friends who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his father, Pete Rice; mother, Faye Mendenhall Rice; brother, Alan Rice; and sister, Ann Rice. Service: Sunday, October 10, 2021, 11:00 am at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City.
