Michael Victor Romero

On Wednesday June 12th, 2019, Michael Victor Romero, beloved father, brother and Uncle passed away at age 56 in Alb, NM. Michael was born on March 8th, 1963 in Alamosa, Colorado to Flora Garcia and Rudy Romero. Mike was the only boy in a family of four sisters who loved him dearly. Michael lived in Monte Vista for most of his life and loved it there. He loved the mountains, loved to fish and camp. His hobbies included listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered as always being quick with a joke and a laugh. He had two children, Michael Romero Junior (from Espanola, NM) and Amanda Martinez from Monte Vista, Colorado. He sadly lost his son Michael in 2008 after a fatal car accident. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Flora Garcia and Rudy Romero and his son Michael Jr. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Martinez and his four sisters, Ida, Darlene, Lori and Rebecca, as well as many nephews and nieces. Please join us for a celebration of Life service held on June 15th, 2019 at First Congregation United Church of Christ Hall, 2801 Lomas Blvd, Albuquerque New Mexico from 1:30 to 4 pm.
