Michael Wayne Roth

Michael W. Roth, 33, Tualatin, Oregon died Sunday April 29, 2012 at home with his parents at his side. He died following a long battle from an unknown neurological condition that began very early in his life and caused him to lose many of his physical abilities. He continued to enjoy life and was loved and cherished by all who knew him for his uncomplaining and happy personality. He was quick to smile and a joy and inspiration to those who knew him. He was born in Portland, Oregon on November 11, 1978. He attended Bridgeport Elementary School, Hazelbrook Middle School and graduated from Tualatin high school in 1997. He attended classes at Portland Community College until age 21. He attended Good Shepherd Work Activity Center for several years. Michael loved playing t-ball when younger. Michael was a cub scout and enjoyed attending Kiwanis Camp each summer and trips with his parents and sister. Michael liked all types of music, especially country western. He enjoyed 11 years of friendship, learning and fun at Tuesdays Treasures at the Tualatin Presbyterian Church sponsored by Quiet Waters Outreach. Michael lived at home with his parents. He is survived by parents Gary and Linda (Bauer) and sister Deborah. Michael was the grandson of longtime American Falls residents John C. and Ida Bauer who predeceased him. He is the nephew of Dianna and Dennis Campbell, Dennis and Darlene Bauer, the late Robert Bauer, John L. and Bonita Bauer, Rick and Shonda Bauer as well as many cousins in the American Falls area. He is the grandson of Naomi and the late Frank Roth and nephew of Dennis Roth of Washington. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday May 12, 2012 at Tualatin Presbyterian Church in Tualatin, Oregon.
