Michael Stuart Ruffner
August 22nd, 1951 - April 19th, 2013
Micheal Stuart Ruffner, mama’s boy, lover of family, sports and all salty snacks died on Sunday, April 21st, 2013. Preceded in death by his father Norman Ruffner, Micheal was most cherished by his mother Marilyn Ruffner, his kids Derek and Denelle (his rock), grandbabies Maya and Reece, siblings Norma German (Jon), Patrick (Vicki), Mark (Theresa), Jeff (Julie), Dana, Kelly Miller, Scott (Janice), Chris, Steven (Beth) and a ton of nieces and nephews. “Spider Legs” Ruffner spent some of his happiest moments on the soccer field with his favorite band of hooligans, exploring the beach with his grandkids and losing himself in a good book or old movie. Micheal loved fishing, the “idea” of being a good golfer and he never met a stranger or a snack food he didn’t like. He was rich in heart, thoughtful in nature and funny…twisted, but funny. And so Micheal, in our best Aaron Neville voices we send you off with this: “we don't know much, But we know we love you, And that may be all we need to know…” Peace at last.
