October 29th, 1969 - February 21st, 2023
Michael Santacrose passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, 2/21/2023 at age 53. He was born October 29,1969 in Endicott, NY to Gaetano and Viola Santacrose, he was the youngest of 6 children. He was a graduate of Union Endicott HS and obtained his Associates Degree from Broome Community College, Binghamton, NY. Michael worked most of his life in the food service business; for many years as a cook with his brother at his restaurants, then he moved to Florida in the early 2000s with his mother and was her caretaker until her death in 2022. For the last 6 years he has worked for ShorePoint Health Punta Gorda with a dedicated team in food service. While he was going through a difficult time with cancer treatments this past year his team was very supportive and caring. Survivors include: brother, Tony and sister in law, Maria, sister, Christina and sister in law, Kim, sister, Marietta and brother in law, Robert, brother, Romolo, and sister in law, Laura, plus numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Guy. A memorial service was held on Saturday February 25 for both Michael and his mother.
