"Westfield, Michael R. Stephens, 39, died at Noble Hospital on Thursday, March 3. Born in Holyoke on February 26, 1977, he was the son of Robert Stephens of CA and Karen (Brunelle) Bjorkland of Sweden. Michael grew up in Holyoke and was a graduate of Holyoke High School Class of 1995. He was employed by many area CT car dealerships as a salesman and finance manager. He enjoyed watching football and basketball and was an avid Patriots fan. He will always be remembered for his fun loving nature and fantastic sense of humor. He will be forever missed by his mother Karen and her husband Kenth Bjorkland, two sisters, Amy Stephens-Martin of Chicopee and Rebecca Stephens of Westfield, his son, Thomas Stephens, fiancé, Mariah Lakota along with nephews, Kyle and Eli Stephens and Maxwell Martin. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, March 10th at 10:00 a.m. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery in South Hadley. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to, Autismspeaks.org."
