DIGIOIA, Michele (Mike), 76, of Brooksville, passed away Monday, October 23, 2006 as a result of an auto accident. He was born in Cellamare, Italy on June 1, 1930. He was a retired contractor from Chicago, IL, where he owned DiGioia & Sons Construction Company. He moved to Florida with his family in 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents Michele & Arcangela and his brother Vito. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; 7 children, Michael, Angela, Frances, Arcangela(Peggy), Patricia, Angelo, Saverio; 27 grandchildren, Lauren, Heather, Savannah, Danielle, Nicole, Angelina, Justin, Micheal, Nicole, Joey, Lisa, Francesca, Jackie, Angelica Louie, Frankie, Brianna, Anthony, Michela, April, Natalie, Frances, Antonio, Nicolas, Frank, Johnny, Angela, Lucy; 8 great grandchildren, Kailey, Johnny, Dakota, Brian, Anthony, Vincent, Michael and Chyna; 3 sisters Nancy, Angela, Celeste; 1 brother Saverio; 16 dogs, 3 cats and many chickens. Mike was a wonderful, vivacious man who touched many peoples lives and many different generations. He really enjoyed life and will be missed by so many. If you knew and loved Mike like so many remember the goodness and laughs. He enjoyed his garden and most of all he loved his family and friends. If you could understand him... He touched many peoples life's and lived his life to the fullest but most of all and as many of us know "Mike did it his way." We love you, and we'll miss just that "You did it your way." A gathering of friends will be held at Steve’s Fountain View in Land O' Lakes on November 18, 2006 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.
