Michele Grabowski

Michele (Miko) Grabowski, age 77, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Michele was born May 4, 1938 in Qui Nhon-Thin, Binh Dinh South Vietnam to the late Long Vo and the late Thi Mau Nguyen. A strong woman, even at a young age, Michele left home at age 17 and earned a degree in nursing and spent four years as a Lieutenant in the Vietnamese Navy as a nurse. Michele had a love for music, photography, flower arranging and making silk flowers. She was a lively, outgoing, and generous woman, who faithfully supported her husband's military career. She is survived by her husband of 48 hears, Colonel John J. Grabowski, Jr. USAF, MSC (Ret.); son Thanh Tam Vo and brother Long Vo. A visitation will be held at 12:30 PM, followed by a Mass at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2016, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Chapel, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, Las Vegas, NV. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michele's memory may be made to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada 1501 Las Vegas Boulevard Las Vegas NV .
