Michele Lee White

Michele Lee White, 53, of Greeley, CO passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born on July 1, 1963 in Rochester, NY to Edward, Jr. and Diane (Patricia) Knope. Michele grew up in New York and Reno, NV and graduated high school in Reno. On September 10, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV, Michele married Rodney "Skeeter” Gies. Michele worked for Professional Finance Company for 31 years. She loved to travel, scrapbook, garden, and was an essential oil consultant. Michele is survived by her husband, Skeeter of Greeley; children, Kevin (Heather) Gies of Evans, CO and Marci (Joe) Gagnon of Delaware; 8 special grandchildren; brother, David (Kristina) White of Reno; sister, Marcy Morris of Galeton, CO; 6 nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Ronald (Mary Ann) Gies; sister-in-law, Bobbi Haas; and Skeeter’s niece, Raelene Churyk. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Michele’s life will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Greeley First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W. 16th Street, Greeley, CO 80634. Michele’s family requests that everyone wear purple.
