Michelle Ann Gallagher passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 52. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Kevin Gallagher; daughter Sarah Rader-York; her father David “Jack” Rader and her 2 brothers Jeff and David. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia “Pat”. “Chelle” or “Missy” was born in Kent, OH in 1965. Michelle graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis in 1984. She attended Professional Careers Institute to study nursing, then moved to Hilton Head Island where she spent more than 30 years in the food and beverage industry. Her favorite job was working the outside bar at Scott’s Fish Market for many years. In addition to her daughter Sarah, she loved pelicans, hats, cats, bartending, the company of good friends and most of all she loved life. Michelle was known by many and loved by all. A Celebration of Life will be held at Dolphin Head Pavilion on Saturday, August 18th at 5 pm. All are welcome. Please send flowers to a loved one or donate to a charity that is dear to you.
