Michelle R. O'Donnell
September 5th, 1966 - November 17th, 2019
Michelle R. O'Donnell arrived into Heaven on Sunday November 17, 2019, surrounded by her loving and devoted husband, Daniel, and her twin boys, Tyler and Dylan. Michelle and her wonderful family lived in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Michelle was only 53 years of age and fought a courageous fight with cancer for 2 and a half years. Her parents, Wilma and Daniel Emilio; along with her sister, Debbie; and brothers in law, Terry Yeomans and Robert Gill were all waiting for her to arrive. Michelle was born the baby of ten children in Binghamton, New York on September 5th - the same day that she celebrated her extraordinary marriage to Danny. Her siblings are Lucretia Yeomans; Yvonne Newell; Daniel Emilio; Connie (John) McVicker; Domenico (Bonnie) Emilio; Cheri (Dennis) States; Carla (Kraig) Bringham; and Joseph Emilio. Michelle and Danny were blessed by life-long friendships with Angela Bernudez and Todd Monroe. These two attended all of their life events and brought great joy and encouragement to both of them. Michelle's sisters, Carla and Cheri, were with her daily; either by her side or on the phone, loving and laughing with her throughout her life. They were the communicators for the rest of the family. Michelle loved being with friends and family, was always the life of the party, and was the planner of events; everyone loved her plan! Her favorite place was THE BEACH! Although, she loved being at home with her children and watching them grow into handsome, intelligent, successful men. Such pride she had in these two young men. Michelle adored all of her neices and nephews. As one could imagine, being the youngest of 10 children, there were many! Her love of life spilled into animals also - loving her dog Moxie who never left her side, swimming with manatees and dolphins, and volunteering to rescue them. Sunrises and sunsets, she simply enjoyed LIFE. As she endured countless treatments for cancer, there was no one more positive and hopeful that she would beat cancer than Michelle herself. Her faith in God was her stronghold and she shared that faith with all who knew her. Michelle was employed by an amazing psychiatrist, Dr Alfonso Chen, Office of Psychiatry and Neurology, where she developed special friendships with him and members of his staff, Dr Pinard, Kitty, and so many others. Michelle expressed such gratitude for each of these people to her family and friends on many occassions. Michelle loved life and lived it to the fullest! She brought JOY to all who encountered her. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday November 21, 2019 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service and a reception is to follow at New Life Church in Wesley Chapel. More details of this will be shared at the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, Danny and Michelle request that donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
