September 18th, 1981 - April 27th, 2023
Miguel Tomas Ortiz, 41, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023. A native of Boston, MA, Miguel was the son of the late Miguel Tomas Ortiz and Lorena Patricia Arrivillaga, who survives. In addition to the love for his children, his passion was art at a young age. This lead him to become a well-loved, tattoo artist enabling him to own and operate his tattoo shop in Winston-Salem, NC. Survivors include his children, Jayliciah Milani, Lujian Miguel, and Idalys Luz; siblings, Vanessa and husband, Michael, Fergie, Michaela, Celia, Michelle, Joshua, and Alex. He was also loved by many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family members, and friends. In addition to his father, Miguel and brother, Jason Burgos, he will be opening the gates to meet his lost loved ones. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery, Kernersville, NC. Friends and family may view, and sign the guestbook at www.piercejeffersonfh.com
