Obituary Mike Hobbs, 60, of Lexington, Kentucky and husband of 32 years to Karen Hobbs, died Tuesday, April, 19, 2011. He was born March 4, 1951 in Sumter, South Carolina to Sarah Stewart Hobbs, Pineville, Kentucky and the late Lee Hobbs, Jr. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Shane Michael Wallace Hobbs, Owen Co; brothers, Glen (Amy) Hobbs, Pineville, Lin (Kim) Hobbs, Middlesboro; sisters, Sharon (Grayson) Shirley, Pineville, Tammy (David) Cox, Middlesboro; brother in laws, Robert (Marcie) Southworth, Frankfort, David (Rhonda) Southworth, Nicholasville; sister in law, Trish Southworth, Lexington; many nieces and nephews; and friends. Mike graduated from Pineville High School, Class of 1969 and Southeast Community College. He was a retired Chef with the Dietary Department at St. Joseph Hospital. He also served in the United States Air Force. Mike was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball and Football fan and was very excited about the up coming seasons. Funeral Information A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday, April 22, 2011 from 4-7pm at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
