Mike G Lopez

Mike G. Lopez Sr. was called home peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born January 3, 1944 in Magdalena NM. He was a man of the great outdoors, if he wasn't hunting, fishing or camping he was coaching baseball. Mike sat back and enjoyed spending quality time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Vidal P. Lopez; son, Michael J. Lopez; daughter, Rebecca A. Lopez; and his siblings, Henry Lopez and Leandro Lopez. Mike is survived by his wife, Barbara Lopez; his daughter, Anna Lopez Delgado and her husband Lino; his two sons, Orlando Lopez, and Richard Lopez; eleven siblings, Perfie Lopez and his wife Flora, Vidal Lopez Jr. and his wife Ruth, Jake Lopez and his wife Mela, Eddie Lopez, Juan Lopez, Will Lopez, Judy Correa and her husband Alfonso, Ida Montano, Josie Lucero and her husband Richard and Christina Gallegos and her husband Freddy; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. All services will be held at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel on Monday, August 4, 2014 beginning with a viewing at 5:00 PM, with Funeral Service to be celebrated at 6:00 PM. Refreshments will be served at Lino & Anna's home following the service at 4620 Douglas McArthur.
