Mildred Louise Lazenby Gelone 93 Sun City Center, Florida April 24, 1926 – January 13, 2020 Lou Gelone of Sun City Center, Florida (and formerly of Roanoke, Virginia) entered into her eternal rest on Monday January 13, 2020. She was surrounded by her family and at peace at the time of her passing. Lou was predeceased by her husband Joe Gelone; her parents, and her great granddaughter Alexis Thrasher. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Sandy Anderson (Mike) of Roanoke, Virginia; Cindy Yurisic of Orlando, Florida; and Gina Jacobs (Monty) of Apollo Beach, Florida. She is also survived her grandchildren Nicole Thrasher, Ryan Jacobs (Deysi), Jason Anderson (Kelli), Josh Jacobs, Chris Anderson (Amanda) and Alyssa Jacobs (Aaron Troyer). In addition she is also survived by nine great grandchildren. Lou had several special church friends she enjoyed spending time with including the Matthew 25 group. She also enjoyed eating out and especially shopping. But, there was no greater joy in her life than her family. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday January 16, 2020 at the Sun City Center Funeral Home, Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. The family with receive friends one hour prior to the service.
