Mildred Juanita Goss
June 25th, 1926 - August 6th, 2019
Mildred Juanita Goss was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on June 25,1926 where she lived until she married her husband of 51 yrs, Clifford Goss. They, as a young married couple, moved to Salinas, California where for awhile she worked for Spiegles, then Martin Container. She was the first woman to be named head cook for Smuckers. Then 3 children came along, Clifford Goss, Jr, Patricia Goss, and Sharon Goss Parreira, whom she is survived by, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Many people that loved her will miss her greatly. Juanita, as she liked to be called, loved to cook, and show those she loved that with the great gift she had. Juanita attended the Pentecostal Church of God for many years the most recent was Echos from Calvary, pastored by Bud and Dawn Coffman. She loved her pastors, her church, her friends, and family, but above all, her God. Juanita went home to be with her lord on August 6, 2019 with family at her side. She lived with her daughter, Patricia Goss. It's shoutin time.. ... God has one more Angel in Heaven.

We Entrusted Mildred Goss's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
