Mildred was a retired Doctor's Assistant, having worked over 20 years with Dr. MacGlashan. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Wisteria Circle #102 of Salinas AMVETS Auxillary #56 VFW Auxillary #7895 Monterey County Historical Society Alliance on Aging Carpenter's Retiree Club #13 Active Seniors of Salinas Widowed Persons Association of California She's also Retired from SVMH Volunteers and RSVP Program of Santa Cruz Volunteers She is survived by Daughter Arene Myhre of Scottsdale, Arizona Son Aron Myhre, Jr. of Salinas numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren Sister Fannie "Fran" Stapleton of San Antonio, Texas Sister-in-Law Alpha Myhre of Salinas Along with numerous nieces and nephews preceded in death by Husband Aron Myhre Brothers Ennis and Richard Hilbrant Contributions may be made to: Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd 580 Larkin St. Salinas, CA 93907 or SVMH Foundation 450 E. At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
