Mildred Bundrick Shull, 97, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born on February 7, 1927 in Columbia SC to the late Lonnie Lee and Gertie L. Bundrick. She graduated from Columbia High School, got married to Edward Q. Shull November 7, 1947, and entered into the work force and held several jobs until retirement. But no matter what job she held the most important job was being our mother. Surviving are her children, Judy Bryant (Eddie), Faye Weimer (Dick), the late Edlyn Kester (John), Shirley Wessinger (Henry) Danny Shull (Addy), and Wade Shull (Donna). Also, her sixteen grandchildren, Carol, Jon, Jason, Christie, Blaine, Ellen, Terri, Joni, Eric, Nina, Danielle, Rebecca, Emily, Michael, Morgan and their spouses, 35 great grandchildren, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Eva, Quinton, Joshua, Ward, Noah, Grace, Jonah, Leann, Zoe, Caitlyn, Braxton, Jacob, Jared, Joseph, Jackson, Jaime, Shaun, Anna, JD, Brady, Brooke, Ella, Lydia, Tillman, Autumn, Olivia, Cooper, Brady, Luke, and Harper. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Edward Quinton Shull, her parents, her sister Aileen, her brother Everett, her daughter Edlyn, her granddaughter April, her great-grands Silas, Levi, and Jalyn. Mildred was a member of St. David Lutheran Church for 75 years, where she was a nursery teacher for many years and enjoyed her quilt sewing group, visitation team to shut-ins, Young at Heart and Tone Chimes. Over the years she has won sweepstakes, blue and red ribbons for her fancy work at the State Fair. A visitation will be held at St. David Lutheran Church, West Columbia on April 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm; funeral service at 3:00 pm with burial following in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. David Lutheran Church or a charity of one's choice.
