Mildred E. Tracy
December 16th, 1938 - December 23rd, 2023
Chicopee- Mildred E. "Millie" Tracy, 85, went home to be with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ after a long and hard fought battle with dementia. Millie was born December 16, 1938 in Caribou, ME, to the late Stanley and Alice (Anderson) Tracy. She was a long time resident of Chicopee and was previously employed at Caldor's in Chicopee for many years. Millie was guided by her faith and enjoyed reading the Bible. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed shopping, ceramics, decorating, cooking and baking. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Alice Tracy, and her brothers Arland and Richard Tracy. She is survived by her children, Becky (Butch) Norman, Mike (Lori) Squires, and Randy (Cindy) Squires. She also leaves her grandchildren, Dan, Chad and Andrew Norman, Amanda Roberts, Heather Squires, Tiffany Goodin, and Joshua and Sarah Squires, as well as 20 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:30-7:30pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. A service will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in West St. Cemetery in Granby. In lieu of flowers, donations in Millie's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association by visiting act.alz.org.
