Millie Soldano, 91 of Placida, FL passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021. She was born on May 26, 1930 in Cook County, IL to Genero and Ruth (Bukowski) Soldano. After her high school graduation she attended St. Francis College in Joliet, IL graduating with a BS in Nursing and began a 43 year carrier as a nurse and a Military career in the USAF retiring in 1986 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Millie relocated to SW Florida in November 1996 and was an active and avid golfer playing until her recent passing. She also loved bowling and her many cats. She enjoyed dividing her time between Michigan and Florida. Her survivors include the niece: Jackie (Sam) Azzarello, nephews: Kelly (Victoria) George, Jim (Sue) Rossi, Michael Rossi and many grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Genero "Kelly" and Ruth (Bukowski) Soldano, two sisters and their husbands: Carmella Rossi and her husband Raymond and Nina George and her husband Bill.
