March 10th, 1918 - October 9th, 2007
Hostottle, Milton M., “Milt”, 89, of Homosassa, FL passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Cypress Cove Care Center in Crystal River. He was born March 10, 1918 in Beaver County, PA to Horace and Nellie (McDole) Hostottle. He came to Homosassa 12 years ago from Pomeroy, OH. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Homosassa Springs – he loved attending services to serve his Lord. He was preceded in death by a son, James Lee Hostottle and a sister, Olive Smith. Mr. Hostottle worked as an electrician for the Light and Water Department, Woodville, OH and later retired from the Western Reserve Acadamy, Hudson, OH, in 1983, as maintenance superintendent. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed life and was known for his spontaneous fun and well planned pranks. He loved to travel and spend time visiting with family and friends. His loving family includes, his wife of 35 years, Agusta “Gussie” Hostottle of Homosassa; three daughters, Sharon and Richard Kern of Bradner, OH, Sharyl and Ron Koller of Homosassa , and Nancy and Marshall Hill of Helena, OH; daughter-in-law, Brenda Hostottle of Bradner, OH; three sisters, Laura and Jim Slaughterbeck of Neebish Island, Michigan, Thelma Pate of Cleveland, OH, and Violet and Daryl Williams of Findlay, OH; dear cousin, Eileen Welker of Pomeroy, OH; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and many many dear friends throughout the states. A Celebration of Milt's life will be on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 4:00 PM at First Christian Church of Homosassa Springs conducted by Pastor Bob Miller and Pastor Bob Jordan. hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
