Milton "Bud" E. Huseby
December 27th, 1925 - November 21st, 2006
Milton E. "Bud" Huseby 80, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at home under the care of The Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast. He will be remembered for his life of Godliness, love for family and faith in Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour...who saw him through life and welcomed him to Heaven. Bud was born December 27, 1925, Town of Easton, Wisconsin to the late Harold and Esther (Lund) Huseby. He was "born again" July 10, 1936. Bud served in the Navy during World War II. On August 9, 1947 he married Edith Hrobsky at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Wausau, WI. While raising their family, Bud worked at the U.S. Post Office delivering mail for 35 years. He retired in 1981. He was a member of Wausau Bible Church and served there as a Sunday School teacher, Youth Director, Choir Director, served on the Board of the church and also was active at Crescent Lake Bible Camp serving on the Board and also as a Dean of the camp for 16 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and attending the EAA air show in Oshkosh over 20 years. He and Edith moved to Pinellas Park, Florida in 1995 and are now members of Northside Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, FL where he was a member of the Koinonia Sunday School Class, the Golden Heirs, and led a Bible study group. He enjoyed singing, especially in quartets, and being with friends. He especially enjoyed his family for the celebrations of holidays and reunions. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edith G. "Edie;" three sons, Michael (Lois Heikkila) of LaGrange, WY, Bruce (Deborah White) and Harold (Kristi Brown) both of Grand Rapids, MI; one daughter, Patricia (Jim) Engler of Oshkosh, WI; three brothers, John (Judy) of Ada, MI, David (Sylvia)of Jenison, MI, Paul of Wausau; 14 grandchildren - Eric, Kristen and Heidi Engler, Trisha (Cam) Larson, Travis (Sheila) Huseby, Tara (Zachary) Hardy, Sarah (David) Goodman... Scott, Stacy, Stephen Huseby... Wesley, Sean, Lincoln, Logan Huseby and 11 great grandchildren. $(document).ready(function(){ });
