Minoru Yamamoto
August 14th, 1931 - February 13th, 2017
Minoru Yamamoto 85 of Westminster, Colorado passed away on February 13, 2017. Minoru was born on August 14, 1931 in Lafayette, Colorado to Tanekichi and Toka (Sasaki) Yamamoto. Minoru was a part of the Louisville High School first championship football team, which he was so proud of and could relive every part of as if it was yesterday. Minoru was drafted into the US Army and entered active duty January 14, 1952 and was honorable discharged on January 13, 1954 as a Corporal (T). From October 1960 to November 1997 Minoru was employed by United Airlines. Minoru had married Amy E Sawamura on February 7, 1971 and has one daughter Judith T Yamamoto. Minoru is preceded in death of his wife of 42 years, his parents, three sisters Chiyoko Hirao, Mary Konishi, Yoshiye Yamamoto, brother Motoye Yamamoto, and is survived by his daughter Judith and 2 grand kitties of Westminster, CO, sisters Hana Sameshima, Fusaye Tokunaga both of Greeley, CO, Kiyoko (David) Nikaido of Silver Spring, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.
