Mrs. Miriam Levin Friedman 91, of South Pasadena and Detroit, Michigan passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at her home. She is survived by the love of her life, Stanley B. Friedman, her husband of 66 years; son, Rodger (Kiki Nelson) Friedman of Tuxedo, NY; three daughters, Joan (Lou) Slyker of Rapid City, MI, Peggy Daitch (Peter Remington) of Birmingham, MI and Margery (Bill) Lynch of Boulder, CO; four grandchildren, Josh (Lisa) Daitch, Karen Daitch, Andrew Slyker and James Lynch; brother, Joseph (Molly) Levin of Newton, MA and sister, Judith Levin (Bernard) Cantor of Bloomfield Hills, MI. She was predeceased by brother, Dr. Herbert Levin and sister in-law, Marjorie Jackson Levin.The funeral will be held at Ira Kaufman Chapel on Thursday, 5 February 2009 at 12:30 PM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff and Meir Finkelstein will officiate. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Park Cemetery. The family of Miriam Levin Friedman will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, February 8 at the residence of Peggy Daitch and Peter Remington, 777 Purdy, Birmingham Mi 48009 for friends to call.
