Judd, Miriam L. (Lenz), passed on 12/26/2013 at Hospice. She was a native of Pennsylvania, born in the city of Altoona. She was a graduate of Altoona High School, School of Commerce Business School, Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. She was married for 49 years to WWII Navy Veteran Robert J. Judd, deceased in 1999. They relocated to Orlando, Florida in the year 1963 where she worked as a secretary for various firms. Retiring in 1992 from the University of Central Florida, she moved with her family to Largo, Florida. She was a lifelong Catholic and an avid volunteer. She volunteered at Morton Plant Hospital, the Gulf Coast Museum of Art, St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church and various libraries. She was also known as an artist and a student of the Spanish language. Surviving are 2 daughters, Christine B. Lutocka, MSN RN of Seminole, Fl, Paulette L. Goity DH of Yorktown, VA, son Curtis J Judd of Brandon, Fl and 5 grandchildren: Kyle Brady of Orlando, Jeffrey Lutocka of Seminole, Luis and Celeste Goity of Yorktown, VA and Kathleen Judd of Brandon. Also 1 brother, Lt Col. (Ret) Daniel A Lenz of Newport News, VA , plus many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at St. Jerome's Catholic Church and interment at Bay Pines Cemetery.
