Mona J. Arnold March 11, 1932 �" April 15, 2008 Age: 73 Residence: Greeley, CO Tribute: Mona Jean Arnold was born in Greeley to Adolph and Bertha (Schmidt) Weickum. She grew up by Orchard, CO on a dairy farm. Ms. Arnold cooked at Weld Central School by Keenesburg. She also worked as a home health care aide for awhile and various dairy farms in Weld County, but her primary job was being a homemaker for her family. Ms. Arnold loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing small crafty creations. She was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Ms. Arnold died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at North Colorado Medical Center, Hospice Unit. Survivors: daughter, Sharon Abuso of Greeley; sons, Calvin Arnold and wife Kim of Hudson, and Steve Arnold and wife Jolene of Keenesburg; five grandchildren, Kristy, Melony, Lisa, Scott, and Adam; 4 great grandchildren, Haley, Paige, Calvin, and Dylan; and seven sisters, Bert, Alice, JoAnn, Rose, Carol, Irene, and Sherill. Proceeded in death by: parents, Adolph and Bertha; and a sister, Mabel Derr. Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Note: Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado c/o Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
