Mona Lisa Lauriano
May 13th, 1961 - February 7th, 2013
Mona "Chona Bear” Llamas, 51, of Greeley, CO passed away February 7, 2013 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born May 13, 1961 in Greeley to Alfred and Geraldine (Martinez) Llamas. Mona attended John Evans and Eaton Elementary School. Mona was a homemaker who would always lend a helping hand to anyone. She loved bingo, watching Lifetime, playing cards, wrecking her wheelchair, and loved Facebook. She loved to make people laugh and nobody could do any wrong in her eyes. She is survived by one daughter, Maricella Meza; four sons, Michael Llamas, Enrique Llamas, Jose Llamas, and Roberto Vasquez; six grandchildren, Angelica Salas, Erik Valencia, Lyis Valencia, Marky Llamas, Mikaylay Savannah, and Michael Llamas, Jr.; five sisters, Julia Lucero, Geneva Llamas, Marie Llamas, Sarah Lopez, and Sandra Morales; and two brothers, Leonard Llamas and Larry Llamas. Mona was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine and Alfred Llamas; sisters, Corrine Diaz and Lorrine Llamas; brothers, Alfred Llamas, Jr. and Ernest Llamas. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue in Greeley. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 915 12th Street, Greeley, CO 80631. Memorial donations may be made to the "Mona Llamas Memorial Fund” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
