Mona A. Ross

Ross, Mona Alma,89 of Tampa, passed away. Born September 18, 1930, in Salt Creek Township, OH, she lived in Columbus, OH for over 25 years, moving to FL in 1978. She then resided in Tarpon Springs for 35 years. Mona is preceded in death by her Baby Girl Leavey; her first husband Dennis E Leavey, her second husband Charles L Ross, 20 sisters and brothers of which she knew: Cora Elsie, Annabelle, Dora, Felix, and Bret. She is survived by her daughters, Frances Roby, Mona/Ginger Asbury, Diana Foor (Jerry), Jacqueline Fauss and Angel (her faithful dog); 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren. Mona enjoyed World Travel, playing words with friends and solitaire, reading the bible and attending church; she also loved keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. She received an Associates Degree in Accounting from Franklin University and retired from AAA Auto Club South after many years of service but most importantly was her role as a mother, raising four strong women, being a beacon of light within not just her family but this world, spreading the word of God and showing love wherever she went.
