83, of St. Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010. She was born in Tarlac, Philippines on May 4, 1927. Monica moved to NY in Dec. of 1969 and relocated to St. Petersburg in 2004. She graduated from Far Eastern University in Manila. She was Roman Catholic and a member of Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle. She was the daughter of Basilio and Teodora Canlas. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Jose of St. Petersburg; her children, Eduardo, Patricia, Dennis, Carlo, Eugene, Rey and Gerard; and her nine grandchildren. There will be a visitation from 12-5 pm on Saturday Oct. 23, 2010 at the 2201 Dr. MLK St. N. location, with a funeral service to follow at 5 pm.
