Monica Lynn Novaes Hopkins
September 5th, 1963 - May 24th, 2015
Biography Monica was born September 5th, 1963 to Elmer Kopp and Celeste Novaes in Patuxent River Maryland. Monica was 2nd out of 4 children to that union. While still young, Monica’s parents divorced. Monica’s mother later remarried and after a couple years of marriage, George Hopkins adopted the children as his own. After school, Monica was employed doing hair and make-up for movies and shows. She worked with many actors, actresses, and music artists. Her favorite was Geoffery Lewis. In 1995, Monica gave birth to her daughter, Julie-ana. As Julie-ana entered school, she became the main focus of Monica’s life. She was never more proud of anything than her daughter. Monica taught her daughter the importance of an education. As a result, Julie-ana graduated high school as the class Valedictorian and with her AAS and a Cambridge Diploma. Monica resided in Rockledge, Florida with her daughter and her fiancé. Monica passed on May 24th, 2015 while at Rockledge Rehabilitation and Health following open heart surgery.
