Monica Medina
January 17th, 1978 - November 27th, 2021
Obituary Monica Medina of Colorado Springs unexpectedly passed away on November 27th, 2021. She is survived by her Daughter. Rosalina 'ROSIE' Danielle Salazar-Medina; Father, Gerald E. Medina; Sister, Amber S. Medina; Brother In Law, Rocky Trujillo; Brother, Jeremy Medina; Sister In Law, Victoria Trujillo. Monica is also survived by her Niece, Liliana Medina; Nephews, Isaac Rodriguez, Vincent Medina, Julian Medina and Ezekiel Medina. Monica is safely home with her beloved Grandmother, Madeline Medina; Mother Leticia Aguilar and Cousin Anthony Medina; whom we believe needed her in heaven. Monica was loved by her Aunts, Uncles, and several Cousins; Including her Aunt and Uncle, Debra & Dennis Moreno; Cousins, Natalie, Daniel and Chantillie Moreno of Colorado Springs. She had countless friends, and made friends easily anywhere she went. Her heart was made of pure gold, as she went above and beyond for the people she loved. She was a giver, and selfless. She thought of what people would like, or needed, and would go to great lengths to make it happen. She had a magnet personality, and once you met her you could never be the same, she just had that effect on people. Our little Monica was silly, funny, and fierce. She was bubbly and truly a beautiful person inside and out. She had a strong bond with her Father, Gerald Medina, who was there with her every chance he could be. In good times and in bad they stuck together, and loved one another unconditionally. She loved her daughter, Rosie, with everything she had, and will be a Guardian Angel to us all. Monica had dreams of becoming a paralegal, but had a natural gift of assisting people with unjust situations. She would fight for people, and stand up for people. She was vocal, and not afraid of anything or anyone. She was a fearless fighter, and stood her ground. Monica was a hard worker, and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who asked. Monica loved to laugh, tell stories, and make people feel good. Her personality was one in a lifetime! We will forever miss our Beautiful Monica...
