Monica Salinas

 Monica Salinas, 31, of Chimayo, NM, passed away March 16, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Monica's interests included music, travel and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her God-Son, Juni. She was preceded in death by her father, Albino Salinas IV; and maternal grandparents, Erminio and Faby Martinez; and paternal grandparents, Antonio Sr. and Josefina Salinas. Monica is survived by her mother, Roberta and husband, Joseph Vigil of Chili; sisters, Amanda Salinas and companion, Angelo Sandoval of Cordova, Mariah Gonzales-Zapata and companion, Jesus Manuel Zapata of Espanola; brothers, Albino Salinas V. of Chimayo and Raymond Salinas of Aurora, CO; aunts, Kathy and husband Phillip Gonzales Sr. of Hernandez, Sandy and husband Henry Anderson of Espanola, Theresa Garcia of Espanola; uncles, David Martinez of Chimayo, Antonio Jr. and wife, Tania Salinas of Albuquerque, Aaron Salinas of Espanola; special cousins very dear to her heart, Shaun Gonzales and companion Kristina LaRae as well as daughter, Cecilia of Chimayo; cousin, Phillip Gonzales Jr. and wife, Kimberly as well as children, Phillip III and Faith of Santa Fe, god-son; Jesus Zapata Jr.; best friend and sister for 22 years, Angel Chacon; nephews, nieces, and cousins, Paul Frenier, Alexis Vigil, Esperanza Sandoval, Caleb Gonzales, Isabella Sandoval, Villaney Zapata and Eliza Zapata; as well as other numerous relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers, Angel Chacon, Kristina LaRae, Valerie Montano, Mariah Gonzales-Zapata, Esperanza Sandoval and Isabella Sandoval; honorary pallbearers, nephews, nieces and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 beginning at 7:00 PM at Victory Faith Church, 823 Angel Duran Drive, Espanola. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Victory Faith Church. To view the full obituary and sign the on-line guest register for Monica, please go to, www.RiversideFunerals.com.  Arrangements entrusted
