November 18th, 1957 - February 18th, 2013
Mr. Moses Santiago, 55, of Spring Street, Gloversville, NY died peacefully on February 18, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with his family by his side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on November 18, 1957 he was one of 10 children of Eugene and Elsa Rios Santiago. Moses graduated from Amsterdam High School and was currently employed as a laborer for Pioneer Windows. A lifelong area resident, Moses will be remembered for being an avid NY Yankee fan and for his love of his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include his only daughter, Krystle Santiago and his granddaughter, Helen Mariana LaRowe- Santiago; nine siblings, Consuelo "Connie" Lozada, Rafael Santiago, Teresa Colon, Melissa Rios, Abraham Santiago, Yolanda Carmona, Richard Santiago, Norbert Santiago and Elsa Buseck; a special niece, Christie Bonomo; one uncle, Norbert Rios; aunts, Rachel Dorman and Daisy Rivera; his best friend and life partner, Sue Davis and her daughter Kacie; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit the family on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 1 until 3p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery.
