Obituary VERSAILLES- David Julian Rice, 76, husband of the late Ada McKinney RIce, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012. A native of Woodford County, he was born April 16, 1936 to the late Howard and Cordie Rice. Mr. Rice was the owner and operator for RR Construction. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his children, David (Rebecca) Rice, Jr, Versailles; Justus Howard Rice, Harrodsburg; Patrick (Sue) Rice, Harrodsburg; Jamie (Doug) Darland, Salvisa; Rubena (Mitchell) Searcy, Harrodsburg; Rebecca (Jeff) Oliver, Berea; Sherry (Bret) Royalty, Harrodsburg; and Jennifer (Kevin) Bugg, Harrodsurg; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Marquetta Rice. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be 11am Friday at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Rev. Michael Conover and Ricky Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Lucas Derringer, Dillion Derringer, Wesley Tingle, Josh Rice, Cody Sanders, Anthony Rice, William Riley and Gary Cox. Honorary casketbearers will be Levi Bugg, Joe Tingle, Matthew Douglas, Johnathon Douglas, Earnon "Bubba" Searcy and Chris Sanders. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
