Versailles KY VersaillesGlenn Tommy Thompson, 65, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, on August 15, 1952 to Jane Knight Thompson of Ohio and the late Glenn Oris Thompson, Sr. Mr. Thompson worked as a printer for Post Printing. He was a member of Versailles Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He was also a member of The Lexington Theatre Community, in addition to coaching both Little League and Recreational League basketball. Mr. Thompson trained and owned standardbred horses as well. Besides his mother, he is survived by 3 daughters, Emerson Thompson, Lexington, Serena Janeann Wright, England, and Tess Thompson, Versailles; 2 sons, Joe Thompson, Lexington, and Everett Thompson, Versailles; his sister, Pamela (Marvin) Williams, NC; and his brother, Tim (Toni) Thompson, OH. Funeral Information Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m.Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Versailles Baptist Church, followed by Celebration of Life service with Rev. Michael Cabell officiating.
