Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Versailles-William (Bill) Allen Boggess, 95, a Navy veteran with 26 years of service in both WWII and the Korean War, also retired from Rand McNally after 18 years. He was born at Lock 6 to James and Vera Boggess and remained a lifelong resident of Woodford County in Kentucky. Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by his brothers, James Boggess and Donald Boggess; and his wife, Flossie Midge Boggess. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Puckett of Colorado; two sons, William N. (Geneva) Boggess of Huntsville, AL, and David R. Boggess of Versailles; eight grandchildren, Bridgette (David) Franey of Franklin, TN, Katrina (Jonathan) Ball of Huntsville, AL, William Jacob (Emily) Boggess of Philadelphia, PA, Connie L. Boggess of Frankfort, Christa Sasser of Miamisburg, OH, Michelle (Donnie) Bryeans of Luxora, AR, Christopher (Kerry) Bright of Suffolk, VA, Patrick (Angela) Bright of Rota, Spain; eleven great grandchildren, Luke and Harper Franey of Franklin, TN, Hannah and Gabrielle Ball of Huntsville, AL, Joshua (Alyssa) Saucier of Frankfort, Caylee, Christopher, and Conrad Sasser of Miamisburg, OH, Joshua and Christopher D. Bright of Suffolk, VA and Madelynn Bright of Rota, Spain; and one great great granddaughter, Jade Saucier of Frankfort. Funeral Information Visitation will be held 4-6 PM on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill.
