With profound sorrow and heartfelt remembrance, we announce the passing of Mrs. Terry Eden on August 23, 2024, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on August 8, 1928, in Charleston, South Carolina, Mrs. Eden's life was a tapestry woven with love, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Mrs. Eden’s life will be celebrated on August 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Following the service, a committal ceremony will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery. In recognition of her love for animals, the family suggests that expressions of condolence be directed to the Humane Society of Houston County, at 810 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Centerville, GA 31028.
Preceded in death by her father, Earl Joiner, mother, Kathleen Joiner, beloved spouse, Roger L. Eden, six dearly missed siblings, her cherished son, Wesley Eden, and her nephew, Michael Joiner, Terry leaves behind a legacy of laughter and compassion. Her soul, generous and vibrant, continues to shine in the hearts of those who knew her.
Her memory is kept alive by her devoted sons, Christopher Eden (Holly) and Tim Eden (Amy), who carry forward her spirit of kindness. Her nieces, Renay Perry and Lorrie Dugard, and her nephews, Gary Joiner (Lana), David Joiner (Susan), and Jimmy Causey (Paula), remember her as a beacon of humor and loving generosity.
A lifelong member of the Bonaire Methodist Church, Mrs. Eden’s faith was a cornerstone of her existence. Her life stood as a testament to her reverence and religious devotion, deeply imbued in every aspect of her being. Though Terry Eden has moved on to her eternal rest, her spirit endures in the laughter, kindness, and faith she shared with all who were fortunate to know her. She will forever be remembered as a funny, kind, and devout woman whose life touched many.
