Mrs. Muriel Elaine Anderson, age 69 a resident of Auburndale passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mrs. Anderson was born November 2, 1946 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to Thomas Raymond and Lida Garnet (Campbell) Carpenter. She was a self employed tax accountant and a member of the Winter Haven Moose Lodge. She moved to Auburndale in 1989 from St. Petersburg. She was preceded in death by her parents. Muriel is survived by her husband - Howard Eugene Anderson, Sr. of Auburndale; 2 stepsons - Howard Eugene (Jolie) Anderson, Jr. of Haines City and Sterling Craig Anderson of Auburndale; brother - Kenneth Carpenter of St. Petersburg; 5 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. Also her dog - Bella. There are no services for Mrs. Anderson.
