Muriel "Gambill" Guy
August 10th, 1925 - June 30th, 2016
Muriel Gambill Guy, 90, went home to be with the Lord June 30, 2016. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00PM Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Jon White officiating. A native of Wilkes County, Muriel was the daughter of the late Mary Adams and Wiley Gambill. She was retired from Hanes Hosiery. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing, TV shows, but most importantly her family time. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Franklin Guy, and brothers. Survivors include her daughters Shirley Lawson and Ray of Walkertown, Teresa Bowers and Jimmy of Germanton, and Regina Borden and Trent of Haines City, Florida; son Tim Miles and Nancy of Walkertown; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sister Sue Blevins and Robert of Winston-Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends from 11:00AM until 12:30PM Tuesday at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home.
