Murlah Anne (Ingram) Wilson

February 12th, 1948 - August 15th, 2024

Murlah Anne (Ingram) Wilson, widow of Richard A. Wilson, passed away Thursday August 15, 2024 with her children at her side.

She was born February 12, 1948 in Williamson, West Virginia to the late John Akers Ingram, Sr. and Ora Helen (Marcum) Ingram.  She grew up in Virginia Beach, VA  where she met the love of her life while working at a bar at the beach.  They were married July 5, 1969 then began military life, finally deciding to retire in Summerville.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and military wife. 

She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, her parents and her brothers, John A. Ingram, Jr. and Robert L. Ingram.  She is survived by her son- Robert Wilson, daughter- Nikki Thornhill (Chris), grandchildren: Kristina Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Meghan Thornhill, and Justin Thornhill.  Great Grandchildren: Annaleigh Thornhill, Brayden Wilson, and Atlee Wright.

There will be no services at this time.  The family will hold a private service at a later date.  Memorials can be made to Baya Musc Hospice in her honor.
