Myron Vernile Adams
April 24th, 1933 - June 19th, 2010
Myron Vernile Adams was born April 24th, 1933 to Myron and Erma Adams in Brigham City, Utah. Myron grew up farming and ranching alongside his siblings and cousins in Utah and Nevada. In 1947, Myron's parents bought the Riordan Ranch in Lund, Nevada. After graduating from Lund High School, Myron was drafted into the Army during the Korean War, during which time he was stationed in the state of Washington as a cook. Myron attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Myron and Sondra Jurey were married in 1959 and had four children. Myron was employed by Bureau of Land Management. He resided in Carson City, NV, in Kanab, UT, and in Ukiah, CA then settled down on a small farm in Standish, CA in 1969. Myron loved being with his children, horse-racing, team roping, and participating in rodeos and horseshows with his children. Myron Vernile Adams passed on June 19, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Myron leaves behind his two brothers John and Dean Adams, his sister Kate Nelson, his two sons Jod and Ron Adams, his two daughters Lea Honea and Amy Adams, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held June 26th, 2010 at 12:00 pm, at the Lund Cemetery in Lund, Nevada.
